Hatha Yoga is a 5,000 year old mind/body practice. Yoga, as we know it today, is a physical exercise deepened by mindfulness. Through a series of yoga postures (asanas), stretches, deep breathing (pranayama), and meditation, the body and mind move in sync. Yoga is known to cultivate inner peace, uplift the spirits, improve muscular strength, increase flexibility, lower blood pressure, and purify the digestive, circulatory, endocrine, respiratory, and nervous system. A yoga practice is beneficial for all ages, bodies, and levels of experience.
Hatha yoga classes are complementary with your stay at the historic Inn at the Round Barn Farm located in Waitsfield, Vermont. Morning classes, instructed by Warren Yoga's Camie Bargerstock, gather every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-9am.
Classes are located outdoors among the rolling pastures, pond, and gardens, or during colder months, inside the Round Barn's rustic and elegant milking parlor.
"Wedding day" yoga sessions are also available for the bride, groom, and their wedding guests.
